I’ve lived in London, away from my home town in Greater Manchester, for just over three and a half years. Whilst this city has shaped me into the person I am today, given me opportunities, allowed me to find a path, and ensured that I learn first hand the definition of what it is to work, I will always be a Mancunian through and through. My roots are my roots, and I’m proud to come from a city that offers the vast culture that it does, as well as the chipper people.
This being said, I’m grateful to be featured within Refinery29 UK‘s piece on female creatives in Manchester. I might not back in the land of the north in body, but I’m always there in heart and am a strong believer in representing where you’re from.
You can see the four other ladies chosen by Refinery 29, along with their words on myself, here.
